Making naan bread yourself is as easy as making pizza dough. Tastes really delicious with a spicy curry dish.
Ingredients for the dough:
350 g flour, 120 ml lukewarm water, 60 ml olive oil, 80 g yoghurt, 1 egg, 2 tsp dried yeast, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt
Stir the yeast with water and sugar and let stand for about 10 minutes. Stir in oil, egg and yoghurt. Mix the flour with salt and gradually add to the mixture. Knead dough for 5 minutes and leave for 1 hour in a warm place.
How to do it?
Divide the dough into 8 equal parts and shape into balls.
Roll out the round dough balls or shape into round flat bread by hand.
Fry patties in a non-stick pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.
